Batu Mengkebang/Kelantan double-ring(PDR-03G) unlisted smaller size 29x17x9mm. instead of 36x20x9mm. with dated 4.8.1909 and showing another extremely rare Siamese d.s. Kota Bharu/Kelantan transit(PDR-03G) 8.8.1909 at lower left; upon arrival in KL the card redirected with FMS 3c. tied by Kuala Lumpur double-ring d.s. "1943 Oct 30 (the earliest known date), Padang Serai to KL, small cover with Japanese 8c.blue with censorship tied Japanese Katakana double ring Padang Serai cds. in Janpanese only dated 10 / 30 / 2603 and similar Japanese Katakana double ring Alor Star cds. in Japanese only dated the same day. On obverse boxed Alor Star 7 censor marking in black: Thai postal authority started admistrating Srilat Malai on 1943 October 19 and in the beginning kept using Japanese postage and Japanese postmarks for less than 3 months until a new Thai postages and postmarks arrived on 1944 Jan 15. Only a few covers are recorded for both Japanese Katakana cancellations on postal history during this period and being the earliest date known made the cover even more significant thus an immensly rare Thai postal history usage with Japanese postage and Japanese Katakana postmarks. Historical and magnificent exhibition item. VF.(1)"
